A note for referring physicians — New York

Medically reviewed by Dr Renaud Bollens — Professor of Urology

New York

A note for referring physicians, seen through the experience of patients in New York, where sitting, commuting and desk work dominate the day.

We accept case reviews from physicians directly. The most useful package is a symptom summary, prior imaging, urology or gynaecology work-ups, and a list of treatments tried with responses.

Reviews are returned as a written opinion stating whether pudendal nerve involvement is likely and what should happen next, including when the answer is that surgery is not appropriate.

Referring physicians remain in the loop through treatment and follow-up.

Video consultations are scheduled for Eastern Time so New York patients do not need to take a day off to be assessed.
