The records that make a remote review possible, set out step by step so you know what happens and in what order.
A useful remote review needs four things: a pelvic MRI (ideally the DICOM files, not only the report), any pudendal nerve block reports with the degree and duration of relief, previous operative notes, and a symptom timeline written in your own words.
US hospital portals and Swedish journal systems both export DICOM. We convert and read the images directly rather than relying on the written radiology report, because pudendal pathology is frequently not what the radiologist was asked to look for.
With those records in hand, an opinion is normally written within a few working days, in English or Swedish, and it states plainly whether decompression is a realistic option.
Every step is completed before travel is considered — assessment first, logistics only if surgery is genuinely indicated.
