A practical checklist for anyone dealing with post surgical pelvic nerve pain — what to record, what to ask, and when to escalate.
Pain that begins after a pelvic operation and does not follow the expected healing curve should raise the question of nerve injury, entrapment in scar tissue or fixation by mesh.
The pattern matters: pain in a nerve territory, triggered by position, with altered sensation, is different from ordinary post-operative soreness.
